We had our first ultrasound this morning! It was so awesome, you could actually see and hear the baby's little heart beating! It's still pretty blurry - the baby's pretty little still - but it was so great to know everything is okay. And we DEFINITELY put to rest the worry that I was carrying twins. :) Anyway, I thought I would share the picture of our little gummy bear!
I am exactly 8 weeks today, and everything is right on schedule! The baby has definitely grown since our last appointment, and seems to be perfectly healthy, which we are so grateful for. The nurse said the heart was beating at 167 beats per minute! Crazy. We love our little peanut already!

Yay for baby! Ultrasounds are so reassuring. I always loved getting them and loved getting to take a peek at my babies! It's amazing that it's really growing inside you! We are so excited for our new little niece or nephew!
